Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Haridwar to Joshimath (260 km, 8 hrs)

  • Altitude: 1,875 m
  • Stay: Hotel
  • Description: Begin the journey with a scenic drive to Joshimath, passing through the holy towns of Devprayag and Rudraprayag.

Day 2: Joshimath – Badrinath – Mana – Laxmiban (47 km drive, 7 km trek)

  • Altitude: Mana (3,100 m), Laxmiban (3,502 m)
  • Stay: Camp
  • Description: Trek from Mana, the last Indian village near the China border, through Alaknanda River trails and Vasudhara Falls to Laxmiban, a grassy campsite.

Day 3: Laxmiban to Chakrateertha (11 km trek, 6–7 hrs)

  • Altitude: 4,115 m
  • Stay: Camp
  • Description: A challenging day crossing streams and boulder fields. Enjoy views of Nilkanth and Balakun peaks while navigating steep glacier moraine trails.

Day 4: Chakrateertha – Satopanth Lake – Chakrateertha (8 km round trek, 6–7 hrs)

  • Altitude: 4,460 m
  • Stay: Camp
  • Description: Trek to Satopanth Lake, surrounded by peaks like Chaukhamba, Nilkanth, and Balakun. On clear days, spot the legendary Swargarohini steps.

Day 5: Chakrateertha to Chamtoli (12 km trek, 6–7 hrs)

  • Altitude: 3,500 m
  • Stay: Camp
  • Description: Descend through familiar trails, enjoying the serene surroundings.

Day 6: Chamtoli – Mana – Badrinath – Joshimath (7 km trek, 4–5 hrs)

  • Stay: Hotel
  • Description: Visit Badrinath for a spiritual experience and dip in hot springs. Relive trek memories with majestic views of Swargarohini and Nilkanth peaks.

Day 7: Joshimath to Haridwar (260 km, 8–9 hrs)

  • Description: Conclude your trek with a drive back to Haridwar, taking unforgettable memories with you.
