Itinerary

Day 1: Munsyari to Pamdeo (1,850 m)

  • Trek Distance: 3 hours
  • Drive 13 km from Munsyari to Dhapa Bend and begin trekking to Pamdeo.
  • Cross a wooden bridge over the river and ascend slowly towards Pamdeo village.
  • Overnight in tents or local huts.

Day 2: Pamdeo to Bagudiyar (2,400 m)

  • Trek Distance: 7–8 hours
  • Steep climb for 3 hours, followed by a descent and flat trail to Bagudiyar.
  • Pass Bhabali Dhar, with views of Raj Ramba and Panchachuli Peaks.
  • Overnight at Bagudiyar near the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Checkpost.

Day 3: Bagudiyar to Rilkot (3,200 m)

  • Trek Distance: 6–7 hours
  • Gradual ascent to Nahardevi, followed by a flat section to Mapa and an open valley with views of Gori River.
  • Rilkot serves as a transit camp for shepherds.
  • Overnight in tents.

Day 4: Rilkot to Ghanghar (3,300 m)

  • Trek Distance: 5–6 hours
  • Trek to Ghanghar Village with intermittent views of Himalayan peaks.
  • Camp on an alpine meadow with blooming rhododendrons and a commanding view of Nanda Devi East.

Day 5: Ghanghar to Nanda Devi Base Camp (3,880 m)

  • Trek Distance: 5 km (4 hours)
  • Ascend to the base camp through birch forests and alpine meadows.
  • Reach the Pachu Glacier, with Nanda Devi East towering in the background.
  • Overnight in tents.

Day 6: Nanda Devi Base Camp to Martoli (3,300 m)

  • Trek Distance: 5 hours
  • Descend to Martoli Hamlet with panoramic views of Nanda Lapak, Bankatia, and Martoli Peak.
  • Overnight in tents.

Day 7: Martoli to Nahardevi (2,800 m)

  • Trek Distance: 6–7 hours
  • Descend with views of Ralam Pass and the abandoned villages of Kilanch and Laspa.
  • Camp at Chirkani near Nahardevi.

Day 8: Nahardevi to Pamdeo

  • Trek Distance: 6–7 hours
  • Descend to Radgari Bridge, followed by a climb to Main Singh Top.
  • Reach Pamdeo with panoramic views of Gori Ganga River and Munsyari.

Day 9: Pamdeo to Munsyari (2,010 m)

  • Trek Distance: 3 hours
  • Trek back to Dhapa Bend, where a jeep transfer takes you to Munsyari.
  • Overnight in a rest house.

Day 10: Depart from Munsyari

  • Conclude your journey and depart with unforgettable memories.
